Today is just a normal day. Nothing special happened.
Because of my IELTS test is approaching, I decided to review my essays which I wrote before and to remember some specific words or ideas. I admit that this time, I didn’t prepare for IELTS test seriously as last time but the score may be better if I’m not as nervous as the last two tests. (Would it be possible?)
There is an interesting news on today’s newspaper. It is reported that there are more and more Taiwanese students who want to study abroad. The percentage of students studying abroad has reached to a peak since 2003. It was analysed that students chose to study abroad because they think study environment in Taiwan are not good enough or they need more stimulants from other countries. I think that is not a bad thing for Taiwan. But this is also a warning for Taiwanese educational systems. The reasons that Taiwanese would like to study abroad need to be analysed delicately. Do they just want to have extra experiences or are they just not satisfied at Taiwanese educational systems? I think that this is a serious issue which needs to be noticed by the Taiwanese government.

Since the Hakka song competition was cancelled, the method which I comforted the students was through food and entertainment. I bought 28 pudding-favoured popsicles to treat the students who felt disappointed that they couldn’t attend the competition any more, and play Doraemon (a Japanese cartoon) which is still one of the most popular children cartoons in Taiwan for them. Fortunately, children were easy to please and satisfy. They forgot the bad news immediately and really enjoyed their popsicles and Doraemon very much.
As usual, I attended my English class with Cherry at Monday 7 o’clock. When we almost finished the class, Cherry encouraged me to put my diaries in Blog which can make money for me. I thought that my diaries didn’t have any secretive context and that’s good if it can really make money for me. ‘Why not try it?’ I thought. So I started establish my new blog called ‘Sandy Liu’s English Diary” and told my friends that I have another English blog aside from the Chinese one. However, I still don’t know how it can make money for me. I think I should spend some time to figure out how this blog works.
Oh! I still have an IELTS test this Saturday but I haven’t started to prepare for it yet. I know that writing diaries is totally different from formal essays. I have to revise my previous essays as soon as possible otherwise the score will be lower than last time!
